Perfect Sense: You Can't Change the Past

First, as my first post on my new blog.....I would like to give credit where is due. I have a friend at work who's wife has been blogging and her hubs has shared them. I find them entertaining and enlightening.  You know what? Thank you, Kristin Stauffer, for your words and inspiration. Although, she maybe be doing it daily, I will be honest and say I probably won't, but I like the thought that I can now, whenever I want.  :-)

I am ever-evolving, learning about myself and.....I learned a little something about myself today. I am a Ruminator!  Please, no Ah-nold jokes.  That's me. I dwell, over analyse and over think. It makes perfect sense, so I am going to make a New Years Resolution that most wouldn't think of. I resolved to STOP ruminating!  Ruminators are people who just over think life and worry about not the future, but the past. Why worry about the past?  Its done, its over, and it will never be able to be changed. But I believe that the past can be the cause of good things. Learning, accepting and yes, I am saying this, changing.

I recent read an article on MSN.com called "6 Steps to Stop Over Thinking Your Life" and I am their classic example. So I am going to live life one day at time, enjoying my family and all my wonderful friends. Worrying and over thinking are now in the past. Pun intended.
